Parker's past few weeks...

Just a quick update on some of Parker's past few weeks!

A couple of weekends ago, Mom and Dad met Jerod, Parker and me at Ashley and Heath's house to celebrate Fathers Day. We got there just in time for a delicious dinner of steak, twice baked potatoes and fresh green beans (thanks Heath!).... yum! Although I was most excited about dinner, Parker was most excited about the bouncehouse that Heath brought home for him to play in! I thought Park would be a little skeptical but he had absolutely no fear!

It was a great weekend! :)

Parker decided to take his diaper off one day... he thought it was funny at first until I got the camera. I guess he got embarrassed! Ha! I just thought these were too funny not to share. Poor kid, I am sure these pictures will come back to haunt him later in life. You like how I am keeping it PG, right?

Some of Parker's favorite toys are goggles and ear phones (the giant noise reducing ear phones that he is wearing in the Nascar Driving post a while back). He can't really put either of them on himself, so he brings them to us several times throughout the day and says "please" or "help." I call these his superhero goggles because he will often put the goggles on, run as fast as he can to one object (such as a wall or coffee table), touch it, then run back as fast as he can. He repeats this about 10 ten times. I am pretty sure he thinks he is faster with the goggles on! I swear I am going to make him a cape and he will look just like a little superhero running around!

We spend lots of time in a little pool we got for Parker! Parker LOVES the water! In fact, one night he decided he didn't want to get out and just fell asleep in his float. To all of his grandma's that are gasping right now: there is a bottom in the raft so no, he cannot fall through. Also, I am right beside him in the pool, I just edited myself out of the picture (trust me, it is better this way)! Lastly, there is no way Parker can get in the pool by himself and we do not plan on putting it up next year when he is big enough to climb in.

And this picture is just because I can actually see a little bit of myself in him! I can usually see alot of Ashley, Jerod and even some of my dad, but I have never seen myself in him until this picture!
