Updates...

We wrote this entry on 5/13 , but just realized we never posted it! Keep in mind this a month old when reading...

We have alot to catch you up on! Here goes...

Parker's four month checkup was Wednesday (May 19th) and he is doing great! He now weighs 15 pounds, 1.5 ounces and is in the 60th percentile in weight. He is 26 inches long and is on the 90th percentile in length (no thanks to Jerod or myself!)! They gave us the go ahead to start feeding him cereal and the first feeding was an experience for all three of us! Hopefully we will get better.... it was a mess!

Unfortunately Parker was not in the greatest mood before we started...

But once he figured out what it was, we couldn't give it to him fast enough!

He also liked to grab the spoon and try to shove it in his mouth even further! He would get mad when we wouldn't let him... itt was comical to say the least.

Did I mention he was a mess by the time we were finished? He went straight to the tub...

He is so active and responsive now... he grabs anything (and I mean anything) he can get his hands on! He has been like this for a long time now, but he gets more and more fearless every day!

He has almost figured out how to roll over from back to belly. I think he could do it if he wanted, but he just doesn't want to. He still hates tummy time!

Parker LOVES him jumparoo and walker! I love them too... they entertain him long enough for me to sneak in a shower!

He laughs like a big boy now! He doesn't do it often, but it is adorable when he does! He also squeels, yells, screams, and whimpers all of the time. Not to mention all of the goo-goos and ga-gas.

He is a chunky little thing! We used to talk about his multiple chins, now we can't get over his multiple knees! They are too cute... nothing better than a fat baby! :)

He fake cries... ALOT. He will scream and act like he is crying, but when we go to check on him he magically stops and starts to smile and laugh! He has figured out how to work us... and we have not figured out how to resist his little ploys!

He still loves Nascar! It doesn't matter what he is doing, the second Nascar comes on the tv his eyes are glued!

The older he gets, the more cuddly (not sure how to spell that one!) he gets! :)

He has figured out how to splash in the bathtub! It is difficult to wash him now with his arms and legs flaling around!

His current favorite toy: his feet.

Parker had an eventful weekend! It started off Friday morning when I took him to Tullahoma for the first time by myself! We went to pick up Nana so we could then drive to Cookeville to visit Ashley and Heath. He was an ANGEL the whole way to Tullahoma! He was a little crankier on the way to Cookeville, but he did pretty good for a three hour trip.

Ashley was working in Huntsville on Friday, so Jerod rode back to Cookeville with her that evening. Then dad drove up to meet us, so we all went to dinner at Bobby Q's... Yum!

Saturday morninng, we got up and headed back to Tullahoma to meet Jerod's parents. We then got back in the car and headed to Chattanooga to meet Bemily. We ate dinner, went to HomeGoods and then headed back to Tullahoma! All in all it was another 5 1/2 hours in the car and Parker did pretty good! Momma Jo had to occupy him a little, but I don't think she minded! Ha!

She also got him a new book made of fabric, which he loves! He can actually play with this one since he can't poke his eye out with it.

We then went to lunch at the great grandparent house on Sunday before FINALLY heading back to Huntsville (another 1 1/2 hours). We enjoyed the weekend, but don't ever plan on driving that much in one weekend again!

Here are a few pics of his precious feet I took this weekend... just couldn't resist charing! Notice they look like flinstone feet? Yabba dabba doo!
