This was right before Porter was born. Poor Parker had no clue what was coming!! Thankfully he loves his baby "burger" (brother) despite the fact he now has to share all of the attention. In fact, the biggest problem we have encountered so far is that Parker wants to hold Porter all of the time! Unfortunately, he does not always know how to be gentle so we have to watch him like a hawk!
Here are the first pictures of Porter with Daddy and Mommy right after he was born!
Then the nurses weighed/checked him. He is a pretty healthy little boy! 7 pounds, 14 ounces... a full pound heavier than Parker was!
The first person I wanted to see after Porter was born was Parker! I was so glad when he was able to come into the room... I will always remember how much he seemed to have grown in an hour!
These were the first shots we got of Parker meeting his baby brother... He was definitely checking him out in this picture!
He got a little closer but was still checking him out....
Then he gave his baby a big ole' kiss! Too sweet :)
There are TONS more of Porter meeting his extended family.... but those are for another day!
